Hawaii County Designates $13.3 Million for Affordable Housing Projects

Hawaiʻi County has allocated over $13.2 million to support four projects that will expand affordable housing on the Big Island. These projects include building new homes for low-income families, improving infrastructure for workforce housing, and offering low-cost loans to help residents repair their homes through the Residential Repair Program. Altogether, this funding is set to benefit 181 housing units, creating more opportunities for safe and affordable living. To learn more about the Hawaii County Affordable Housing Project
